This blog is created to allow middle school science teachers from across the state to share lesson ideas and thoughts about effective strategies for teaching science. Users are encouraged to ask questions so that other people can share there thoughts and all teachers may learn from this.
The site also allows for parents and community members to post thoughts about science instruction across the state so that viewpoints from all stakeholders can be heard.

This is a great idea, Jimmy! I, unfortunately, don't have experience in the middle schools. I will be excited to see what others share and say. How do you incorporate technology into your science lessons?

There was a program an 8th grade science teacher and the other 8th grade language teacher recently attended at the State Wildlife Center. It allowed different schools to get together to share ideas on how to teach literacy in science classes and science in language arts classes. I think this is a great opportunity and you may want to look into it for your science and language arts teachers.
